I took a bit of a hiatus from this blog but am back and ready to go =) Lots of good stuff has come out in the last few months. I had a chance to play with a dell latitude st tablet. Pretty cool…worked very well with windows 7…can’t wait to see what it will do with windows 8. I’m a big fan of my ipad but there’s something to be said for having the nice full blown OS on a tablet format. The only thing I didn’t like was the noise the pen made on the screen when writing. That may change in further iterations of the device.

Played with the iphone 4S as well and another nifty device. Siri is pretty cool…again, looking forward to what the next version will bring us. iOS 5 has been great on my iPad. I read about all of the new features but didn’t really pay attention to the multitasking gestures feature until my toddler swiped his hand across it while I was using it and it mysteriously switched apps. It lets you do 4 or 5 finger swipe up to see task bar, swipe left or right to go between apps and my favorite, pinch to Home Screen. So, i can quickly get to the home screen without hitting the home screen button (which I still feel will eventually fail me as I’m constantly pressing it). So, if you were like me and hadn’t played around with multitasking gestures, definitely check it out on your ios 5 device.
