using a capacitive stylus with the ipad makes life much simpler in some ways (and as an added bonus keeps your screen free of those lovely finger marks).  It makes ‘writing’ in those notes programs much easier than using your finger.  I’ve found one in particular that works quite well and is fairly inexpensive.
