Communication…

Today is brought to you by the letter “C”. “C” is for Communication! This is one of the themes that the classic TV learning show, Sesame Street aims to teach children at a young age. No matter what age, everyone needs communication skills to help them survive and thrive in the world.

One of the differentiators at the Penn State Smeal MBA Program is our Leadership Communications program led by Professors Andy Gustafson and Nancy Mahon. No matter what industry and function our students are coming from, and no matter what industry and function our students will pursue post-graduation, they MUST be able to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and other stakeholders in a diverse and global marketplace.

Our communications program is a full-year requirement for all first year students, and time and time again, we have alumni tell us this was one of the most helpful experiences they had during their time at Smeal.
